The browser has been updated to include faster page loads (lightning fast rendering of HTML and CSS), quicker execution of Web 2.0 effects powered by Javascript, and UI tweaks like top-side tabs and ‘Top Sites’ for visiting your favourite websites quickly.

Websites now load much faster and popular websites seem to function more smoothly than the previous version of Safari. The Javascript elements of websites are very snappy and load in fewer second than other competing browsers. Safari 4 Beta also provides full support for CSS 2.1 and supports many features that will become available when CSS 3 reaches its final release. The Mozilla Foundation launched their latest revision of the Firefox browser today for all major platforms. The new build of Firefox has been drastically overhauled from previous versions. The developers have claimed over 15,000 new features, but the main change most people will notice is the new streamlined, more graphically appealing user interface.
